Currently, Slaite does not offer custom labeling.

To download, simply click here or visit the Shopify App Store and search for Slaite POD. Select ‘Add App’ and ‘Install’ and you are ready to begin your online print-on-demand drop-shipping journey.

The cost of shipping is not included in the cost of the product. If you would like to include shipping in the cost of your products, you can adjust the overall product price in your online store to cover the cost of shipping. You can also set up standard shipping prices for specific products on Shopify.

Our Creators do not need to purchase inventory in advance of customers purchasing orders. All orders are made on-demand and drop-shipped. All you need to do is create, publish the catalogue to your online store and focus on selling – we take care of the rest!

Absolutely – products are made on-demand. If your customer orders more than one product from your online store that Slaite fulfills, we will ship the final products together. In the event products would be sent separately, our customer service team will contact you in advance to confirm.

Please note: if your store consists of items that are fulfilled by another service or by yourself, those products will be shipped separately, and shipping charges will be separate.

Currently, Slaite Creators are limited to our catalogue offerings and are not able to provide inventory to the Slaite facility. We are always on the lookout for high-quality products to expand the offerings for our Creators.

Currently, Slaite does not add promotional materials or other add-ins to customer orders.

Orders are fulfilled on-demand within 5 business days of the order being placed. Once an order is fulfilled, it is ready to be shipped. Shipping times vary based on the recipient’s location. Domestic Canadian orders are delivered within 1-5 business days and U.S. orders are delivered within 1-5 business days.

We use UPS standard shipping to deliver your custom orders.

*Please note that shipping times are additional to fulfillment turnaround times.

Yes! We offer samples. To order a sample, simply follow the instructions below:

  1. Login to your Slaite account
  2. Design your products
  3. Connect your store to sync the products you have designed
  4. View the product in your “Collection”
  5. Select “Get Sample” and choose one of your designed products to order as a sample

Please note that samples are not provided for free. You are responsible for covering the cost of the product and the shipping charges. 

Yes, you can track your orders through the “Orders” section on your Slaite Dashboard. Each order will be displayed with the additional details and the order status.

We will also send you an email confirmation when an order is placed outlining the order details.

Please note that we cannot provide tracking information to PO boxes.

We sell our products to you at set cost price and you can create your own profit margins. The set price is based on the cost of the product and the decoration assigned to the product by you. You can use the profit calculator available through your Slaite Dashboard to assist you in setting your prices.

When a customer purchases one of your products from your online store, your customer is charged the retail price you assign the product while you are charged the set price. The difference is your profit.

Unfortunately, we do not allow for returns since everything we produce is customized.

We will provide a full refund or reprint on any stained, damaged or incomplete garments. If a refund is chosen, the refund will be issued to the original form of payment.

At Slaite, we are believers in research, development and testing to ensure our Creators are provided the highest quality products and services to extend to their customers. All garments are selectively chosen based on the quality of the product and its compatibility with DTG printing and embroidery. We rigorously test products to ensure your design will look great while also being a durable garment for your customer.

The design decoration charges vary between garment based on type of garment, type of fabric, type of decoration and the amount of labour needed. Each additional design location will increase the cost of the product. If you have any questions about the cost breakdown of a specific product with various decoration locations, we encourage you to reach out to our customer service team at help@slaitepod.com.

After you’ve completed designing your products they will be added to “My Collection”. Click the “Publish” icon to the right of the product you wish to publish to add them to your online store.

Please note, before publishing your products your billing information needs to be added and you will need to connect your online store to Slaite.

To preserve the colours and quality of your custom apparel, we recommend washing your items inside out in cold water and hang to dry.

We currently do not have any sizing charts available on the Slaite website but we’re working on it! If you would like to see a sizing chart for the product are interested in, feel free to contact our customer service team to request this information. If the UPS tracking information shows the order is being returned to sender, please reach out to us by emailing help@slaitepod.com with your store name and the Slaite (SLT) order number.

To check the status of an order, you can visit the “Orders” tab on the Slaite Dashboard or on your Shopify store.

A product may be out of stock for various reasons and we diligently communicate product outages to our Creators. If you have any questions or concerns regarding product stock, please reach out to our customer service by emailing help@slaitepod.com.

If you are stocking a brick-and-mortar store and would like to purchase in bulk, we recommend reaching out to our customer service team at help@slaitepod.com to find the right solution for you.

Currently, Slaite offers a standard rate shipping service. On average, UPS Standard takes 1-5 business days for deliveries.

The packaging slips included with the product package do not display any pricing.

If your customer purchases multiple items in one order, we will ship these items together. If there is any reason the products will be shipped in separate shipments, we will contact you to provide an update to your customer.

We take the safety of your customers, our staff and our shipping partners with utmost seriousness. To protect everyone, we have instituted the following steps:

  • We have initiated social distancing measures throughout the organization to allow for 6 feet distance between associates. Where 6 feet apart is not possible, we have provided face shields and masks.
  • We instated staggered start times to minimize the congregation of operations associates.
  • We conduct weekly disinfectant spraying of our entire operation facility in addition to our regular cleaning practices.
  • We have ensured resources, such as hand sanitizer and instructions on social distancing, are available in various locations in our facility.
  • All employees have been given personal protective gear, such as masks, gloves, and face shields to wear during their shifts.
  • We implemented and distributed a COVID-19 policy to all employees, providing best practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We ship to Canada and the U.S. As the Creator, you have full control over where you would like to offer shipping by setting up shipping zones in your e-commerce platform. We take care of the rest. We wrote a Slaite Library post walking you through this process, click here to learn!

We package each order using polybags. The dimensions of the bag are determined by the variety, as well as quantity, of items that have been ordered.

Slaite uses white-label packaging, which means there is no branding anywhere on your shipment’s packaging – inside and outside.

Yes, you can track your orders through the “Orders” section on your Slaite Dashboard. Each order will be displayed with the additional details and the order status.

We will also send you an email confirmation when an order is placed outlining the order details.

We charge a flat rate of CAD$9.95 for shipping to all provinces across Canada and a flat rate of CAD$13.95 for shipping to the U.S.

We ship via UPS Standard. We strive to maintain strong relationships with our carriers to ensure your packages are delivered in a timely manner.

Currently, we do not ship internationally.

Unfortunately, we do not allow for returns since everything we produce is customized.

We do not charge any additional taxes on orders placed within Canada or the US. We do not currently ship outside Canada and the US.

Although we do not charge duties and taxes on orders, we do not take responsibility for packages once they leave our facility and they become the carrier’s responsibility. We recommend contacting your local post office or tax authority for information regarding taxes and duties.

Unfortunately, you cannot import Shopify store products into your Slaite dashboard.

If your Shopify store is connected to the Slaite app, your order will appear under the “Orders” tab. Until the order is fulfilled, the status will be “Pending Fulfillment”. Once the order is fulfilled, the status will be “Fulfillment Complete”.

There is no limit to the amount of Slaite products you can add to your Shopify store. You have unlimited possibilities to show off your creativity!

When you log into your Slaite account, the homepage automatically defaults to a ‘Sales Performance Dashboard’ that details the Orders and Collection Performance. This dashboard provides insights into production, total orders and your product performance but it is limited to your Slaite catalogue. If you have additional products or if you are interested in reviewing your website performance metrics, your e-commerce platform will be able to provide deeper insights.

When an order is placed, tax is applied to the cost of the product(s) and shipping. When designing your product, you will be able to set the “Retail Price” with our profit calculator to ensure you are covering the cost of tax and reaching your profit margins.

When publishing products to your online store we will provide you with a profit calculator. You can use this profit calculator to set the prices and profit margins for your products accordingly.

We will also provide you with a report on your Slaite Dashboard that outlines your number of orders and total profit so you can view your overall store performance.

We accept payments by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards.

We do not accept debit cards, as they cannot be processed at checkout.

Currently, the areas of a product you can edit vary by product and material type. Areas we offer for printing are the front, back, right and left upper sleeve and left and right chest for embroidery. For products such as masks or hats, the areas available are limited because of less surface area. Currently, some jacket materials are only available for embroidery customization.

Slaite uses water-based inks to custom print on the garments.

The number of Dots Per Inch (dpi) is important to consider when you upload artwork to include in your Slaite collection. A printed image and an image viewed on a digital display vary in the number of dpi to showcase high quality and image integrity. A lower dpi will appear pixelated or will have other quality issues when its printed on a garment. At Slaite, we provide low quality warnings to avoid any low-quality printing.

If you are creating your artwork in Adobe, please do not save your file as “Save for Web”. This will reduce the resolution and may cause printing quality issues.

Your file size cannot be larger than 25MB.

DPI stands for Dots Per Inch and resolution of a digital photo refers to the photo’s pixels. Slaite uses digital printing to customize your products. When printing digital artwork onto a garment, the dpi must be considerably higher than the pixels per inch (ppi) to produce similar quality to the video display of the artwork.

Your artwork must be a minimum of 300dpi to ensure your logo or design is rendered in high quality.

Slaite currently offers direct-to-garment (DTG) and embroidery customization services.

When using custom embroidery in your branded apparel, your design is sewn onto your chosen garment using a needle and polyester thread. A backing is placed on the inner portion of the garment to keep the stitches together to ensure the design does not unravel. Embroidery is a fully automated process wherein machines read a digitized pattern from a file to reproduce pattern.

Our printing methods ensure that your ink will not rub off, crack or peel.

We can have nearly all artwork recreated or digitized where necessary, however we prefer vector files. Below are the following artwork formats we accept: Max file size of a print file is 25MB.

When you upload an image, you will be provided with a print quality check under the product you are designing. If a low print quality is indicated, please update your file image with a higher dpi and continue to upload your image until you are provided with the good print quality check indicated by the green check mark.

DTG stand for Direct-to-Garment. With DTG, the ink is directly applied to the clothing item using a printer with inkjet technology. Your design is printed directly onto the garment with a printer that uses water-based inks that absorb seamlessly into the fibers of the garment. The concept is similar to printing on paper, except with clothing.

DTG allows for clear and precise image printing. We can capture the fine details of your design and print in a higher quality by using this method.

We use DTG printing to decorate garments. We can recreate custom pantone colours within the CMYK colour gamut.

For example, we won’t have a custom mixed ink for the colour PMS 286, but we will recreate it very closely with CMYK. The process works similar to an inkjet printer.

If you require additional products that Slaite does not currently offer, you can use an additional warehousing and fulfillment service for your online store. Most e-commerce sites allow multiple shipping profiles, meaning you can use various fulfillment services for your online store. We always welcome Creator feedback to help us expand our product line and services.

Drop-shipping is where a business will use a retail fulfillment method and not keep any products in stock. When an order is placed, a third-party company will ship the product directly to the customer. The store owner will not need to purchase any stock or inventory and only purchases inventory for completed customer transactions. In short: you focus on creating and profiting and we take care of the logistics!

A fulfillment service acts as a third-party warehouse that prepares and ships your customer’s orders on behalf of your business. Slaite fulfillment services are your remote right-hand warehousing, inventory and fulfillment services to take the stress of logistics off your plate. Often, fulfillment services charge in addition to the products by the hour, month or by storage. What makes Slaite different is we do not have any hidden fees. We create your customer’s orders on-demand and ship as soon as the products are ready.

Nope! Slaite fulfills products as orders are placed, which means you don’t need inventory services.

Our Creators do not need to purchase inventory in advance of customers purchasing orders. All orders are made on-demand and drop-shipped. All you need to do is create, publish the catalogue to your online store and focus on selling – we take care of the rest!

There are no storage costs, or other hidden fees, associated with Slaite.

We implement security protocols to ensure the safety of our staff, our facility equipment and our inventory. In addition to limiting access and restricting facility access to unauthorized personnel, all facility entry is equipped with a 24-hour security system and is limited to employees with access keys.
